Ann Halbert Bland Harper, age 87 of Lebanon, passed away October 1, 2025. Visitation will be from 2 PM until 5 PM on Friday, October 10th and from noon until the celebration of life service at 2 PM on Saturday, October 11th at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon, with Rev. David Hesson officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Harper was born in Lebanon, Tennessee, to the late John Wilton and Mary Sue Halbert Bland on September 12, 1938. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Bland Blair, and her husband of over 66 years, Jimmie Stanton Harper on December 5, 2023. Mrs. Harper is survived by her son, Stan (Jamie) Harper of Lakewood Ranch, Florida and daughter, Leigh Ann (John) Tribble of Lebanon; brother , Edd (Joyce) Bland of Mt. Juliet; sister, Lynn (Jim) Ragland of Mt. Juliet; brother, Jimmy (Sheree) Bland of Mt. Juliet; five grandchildren: David (Lauren) Harper of Maineville, Ohio; Eric Harper of Kissimmee, Florida; Daniel (Savannah) Tribble of Lebanon; Amy (Drake) Watson of Lebanon; and Paul (Bailey) Tribble of Lebanon; and six great-grandchildren: River, Luka and Bear Harper of Maineville, Ohio; Harper Tribble of Lebanon; and Haven and Lily Tribble of Lebanon.

Mrs. Harper was a proud 1956 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. Pastimes included tennis, gardening, traveling, family genealogy, and watching the University of Tennessee basketball and football teams. In addition to having a "green thumb," she was an excellent cook and baker. Mrs. Harper was a member of Lebanon First United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being in the Questors Sunday School Class for decades and served as a volunteer youth leader. She served on the Wilson County Fair board for numerous years and co-chaired the Rose Show. She retired as a secretary for the Wilson County Agricultural Extension Service.
