Ann P. Healy, of Cumberland, Rhode Island, formerly of Malden and a longtime resident of Medford, January 3rd. Beloved daughter of the late Patrick and Anna (Doyle) Healy who both immigrated to the United States from Kerry, Ireland. Dear sister of the late Mary Whelan, the late Richard Healy and her late brother-in-law John Whelan. Ann was born in Stoneham and raised and educated in Malden. She is a graduate of Girls Catholic High School. As a young woman, Ann worked at the A&P Grocery Store for a short time. She then began her career as a bookkeeper for the Archdiocese of Boston, retiring at the age of 82. She was an active parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish for most of her life. She is survived by her niece Patti Fromkin and her husband Randy of Cumberland, Rhode Island; by her great niece Sydney DaSilva and her husband Sam and her great grand niece of Ayla Ann, all of Milford, Connecticut; by her great nephew Sam Fromkin of Washington, DC; by her niece Jeanne Leahy and her husband Kevin of Wakefield; by her great nephews and their spouses; Joseph Leahy and Colleen Leahy, Bobby and Hannah Leahy of Weymouth, Thomas and Meg Leahy of Wakefield and by her great niece Danielle Boodry and her husband Mike of Wakefield. She was also survived by many close friends throughout her life and was the caregiver of many. Relatives & friends are invited to attend visitation at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Friday January 9th from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the School Sisters of Notre Dame, c/o Development Office, 345 Belden Hill Rd., Wilton, CT 06897-3898.
