Ann Elsner Jammer was born March 12, 1953 in Brazoria, Texas to the late Willie Matthews and Ruthie Lee Stroman. Ann attended school in West Columbia, Texas. She later became engaged and married L.P. Jammer, Jr. Ann joined Wilhite AME Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Sims. She loved playing Bingo, hanging around her cousins, and going places with her best friend Margie. LP and Ann help to raise Birdie Lucretia Bell, as their daughter, whom they looked upon as their baby girl they called Lady Bug. They also became godparents to Collin (Scooter) Stroman which is Ann's nephew. Ann worked in several different fields.

She is preceded in death by her husband L.P. Jammer, Jr., her parents Willie Matthews, Ruthie Lee Stroman, and her brother Kenneth (Pooky) Dedrick.

She leaves memories behind to her devoted daughter, Birdie L. Bell (Anthony), of Houston; her godson, Collin Stroman (Valerie), Pearland, her brother Albert Stroman, of Houston, her sisters, Clara Stroman (Mike), of Angleton, Jessie Mae Jeffery (Authur) of Brenham, Bessie Mae Lewis, of Pearland, Henrietta Stroman, of Lake Jackson, step brother, Charles Burnett and step sister Jacqueline Baldridge (Alvin); special niece Diann Charles, Pearland, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
