Ann M. Keller

Ann Margaret Rohde Keller, 59, ended her two-and-a-half year battle with colon cancer on Feb. 1, 2022. She is now experiencing "the peace that passes all understanding" with her lord Jesus Christ in heaven (Philippians 4:7).
Services will be at Calvary Bible Church, 1450 Oakridge Road, Neenah WI on Saturday, Feb. 5 starting with visitation at 11 am, funeral service at 1 pm, followed by a luncheon.
Ann M. Rohde was born Aug. 9, 1962, in Fond du Lac WI to Ralph J. and Helen J. (Aili) Rohde. She was the second of four children. Growing up with her brothers Paul, John, and Bill, the family enjoyed playing cards & board games, reading stories, going on picnics, and swimming. In her teens, family activities included visiting relatives, camping in state & national parks, bicycling, tennis, and cross-country skiing. Ann also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. In school, she was involved in choir and theatre. Outside of school, she played banjo and was an active member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran youth group. She graduated from Appleton West High School in 1980.
Ann received her Associate degree in Accounting from Fox Valley Technical College. She worked full-time at Valley Bank/M&I Bank while attending night-school to earn her Bachelor's.
Ann was very involved in the singles group at Calvary Bible Church, Neenah WI, where she made lifelong friends, had a lot of fun, and met her future husband, Peter L. Keller. They were united in marriage on Oct. 13, 1995.
Ann continued her Accounting studies and earned her Certified Management Accounting (C.M.A.) degree in 2003. She used these skills at Georgia Carpet Outlets, Wausau Paper-Appleton plant, Coating Excellence Int'l-Wrightstown, and most recently at Multi-Conveyor-Winneconne. She was an active member of the Winnebagoland chapter of the C.M.A. for ten years.
Ann wants to thank her friends at Multi-Conveyor for their love, support, and the incredible kindness they showed Ann during her illness.
Ann's lifelong love of horses led her & Peter to adopt two horses in 2006, which they named Brownie and Ice Cream. Together they tamed the horses for trail riding, but mostly they were pets. Ann & Peter's life together was also enriched by their beloved Golden Retriever Bozo as well as trips to family reunions around the country that included visits to national parks along the way.
Ann was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Henry & Alma (Schroeder) Rohde, her maternal grandparents Emil & Jennie (Kettula) Aili, and her mother Helen J. Rohde.
Survivors include her father Ralph J. Rohde and three brothers: Paul Rohde (Carroll Noel); John (Stephanie) Rohde; Bill (Lia) Rohde. Nieces and nephews: Taylor Camelio; Jenna, Sam, and Emily Rohde; Julia & Andrew Rohde. Also Aunt Betty Ann Rohde & Aunt Burnette Marquardt.
Preceded in the death on the Keller side are Father-in-law Ruben Keller, mother-in-law Helen Keller, and brother-in-law Paul Feldkamp.
In addition to Peter, survivors on the Keller side include: sister-in-law Nola Feldkamp; brother-in-law Richard (Connie) Keller; brother-in-law Robert Keller; brother-in-law Kurt (Lisa) Keller; sister-in-law Carol Keller. Nephews & nieces: Rob & Krista Keller; Evan & Karen Keller; Stephen & Jennifer Keller; Dani & Vicki Keller; Jeremy Keller; Greg & Julia Feldkamp; Erica & John Witte; Katharina Keller.
Ann's family and friends will remember and cherish her warm smile, her kindness, and her thoughtfulness. Throughout her illness, she always took the time to ask her caregivers how they were doing and to share jokes with them.
She loved nothing more than bringing cheer to others. Two notable examples: the exit music at her & Peter's wedding was the Theme from Peanuts; her 50 birthday celebration was an Old West murder mystery complete with costumes.
Ann maintained family traditions and could always be counted on to keep her mom's recipes alive, most notably with an annual batch of Christmas cookies. She provided steadfast support to her dad as he adjusted to life as a widower and dealt with serious illness.
She loved taking on a new challenge or adventure: skydiving, a solo driving trip to the Rockies and back, a weeklong horseback excursion in Banff, and training with the Fox Valley Triathlon Club to complete a sprint race.
Her life was a testament to her strong but quiet faith. She exemplified the Christlike traits of humility, patience, and charity. We will miss her dearly.
Ann's family gives their heartfelt thanks to the friends, neighbors, and church members who provided meals, prayers, and encouragement for nearly three years.
