Ann Lacy Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Memorial Park, and Crematory on Oct. 10, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Ann Tennyson Lacy, 77, of Northport, AL, passed away on October 9, 2025. Born in Booneville, MS to Clifton and Lizzie Tennyson, Ann was the youngest of seven siblings. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, David; her daughter, Kim Wiggins (Brad); her son, Scott Lacy (Kim); and her beloved granddaughter, Caroline Wiggins. She is also survived by her brother, Gene Tennyson (Mevoline) of Booneville, MS.
Ann was a true fighter who fought to the end. She faced things with courage and determination, strength and resilience. She was a proud, strong-willed woman who was never afraid to speak her mind.
Ann cherished her granddaughter, Caroline, and loved being "Nene." She found joy in simple things. Absolutely adored her antiques and telling the memories behind them, visiting estate sales for that one thing, planting and gardening, and her hummingbirds.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends who will remember her for her sharp wit, big heart, "should have bought when I saw it" spirit.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Dr. Herb Thomas officiating.
