Ann M. Meehan

Ann Marie Meehan (Nee Fontini), passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026. She was born on June 19, 1939, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to the late Luigi and Concetta Fontini.

Ann was the former wife of Joseph P. Meehan and a devoted mother to Patrick Meehan, Kathleen Jacob, Concetta Dinnis, Theresa Gourley, Mary Meehan, Barbara Meehan, Brian Meehan and his significant other, Darcie, and the late Daniel Meehan.

She was a proud grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. Ann is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A deeply family-oriented woman, Ann cherished time spent with those she loved most. She was very proud of her Italian heritage, which remained an important part of her identity throughout her life. In her quieter moments, she found comfort and enjoyment in reading Danielle Steel novels, watching Hallmark channel, and doing crossword puzzles.

Ann will be remembered for her devotion to family, her warmth, and the love she shared with all who knew her. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
