Ann Wright Pace, 90, of Lee County, GA, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am at The Chapel at Crown Hill Cemetery with interment to follow. Rev. Mark Walker will officiate.
Ann was born on August 30, 1935 in Homestead, AL to J T and Tamsie Wright. She and her family moved to the small farming town of Jakin, GA in 1946 where she grew up. Ann attended
Jakin High School where she loved and excelled in Basketball. Shortly after High School, she married Earl K. Pace and they made their home in FT. Gaines, GA and then to Albany, GA.
Ann was employed as a Secretary for Dr. McDaniel for ten years before joining the family business, Standard Homes. At Standard homes, she was the co-owner and the go to person for over twenty years. Ann was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church.
Ann loved to walk around her neighborhood and she enjoyed visiting with everyone and never met a stranger. She loved animals, especially dogs. She loved her family and friends. She also loved to travel. Some of the places she visited were England, Australia, Hawaii and France.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl K. Pace.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth (Marie) Pace and Alan (Marcia) Pace, grandchildren, Leemon (Minsei Shi) Pace, Coleman (Sarah) Pace, Mandi (Jason) Neel and Gavin (Mallory) Pace, her sisters, Judy (Bill) Lott, Betty (Lamar) Arnold and Gloria (Gary) Law, great-grandchildren, Oliver Pace, Presley Pace, Elizabeth Baltzell and Meridyth Baltzell, Elias, Scarlett and Hayden.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Crown Hill Cemetery.
