Ann Patton

Ann Patton, age 90, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
She leaves behind two children, Ronald Steven Patton & wife Clara, Lisa Renee Sutton & husband Craig, all of East Bernstadt, KY; three grandchildren, Ashley Creekmore & husband Clint, Kim Reynolds & husband Jack, Andrew Patton; three great grandchildren, Ellie Creekmore, Bryce Creekmore, Caleb Reynolds; plus a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Patton Jr; her parents, George Washington Farmer and Flotilla Walbretch Farmer; and by eight siblings, Marilyn Hundley, Lloyd Farmer, Kate Young, Maxine Goodin, Fred Farmer, Georgia Stamper, Eugene Farmer, Bill Williams.
Ann devoted her life to education and community service. She began her career as a teacher in a one-room school, where she inspired and guided countless young minds with patience and care.
Ann was very active in her community and gave generously of her time and talents. She was a proud member of the Laurel County Historical Society and the Laurel County Homemakers Club, and she participated faithfully in the "Willing Workers." She also served on the district extension board, where her leadership and dedication were deeply valued.
A wonderful cook, Ann was known for her delicious meals and warm hospitality, always making those around her feel welcome and cared for.
She will be remembered for her love of learning, her community spirit, and her kind and giving heart.
A funeral service honoring Ann Patton will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Christian Church with Rev. Denny McCowan officiating. Interment will follow at Landrum Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the service hour, also at the church. The pallbearers will be Ronnie Patton, Craig Sutton, Andrew Patton, Clint Creekmore, Jack Reynolds, Kevin Hundley, Anthony Lewis and Brian Fouts. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's honor to the Laurel County Extension Homemakers Scholarship, God's Food Pantry or to a charity of your choice. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
