David Lee Knight

David Lee Knight, age 75, of London, Kentucky passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025.
He leaves behind his wife, Mimi Stinson Knight; his son, Chad Knight of Richmond, KY; one sibling, Debra Davies of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Spencer Knight (A.J.), Abbie Knight, Lena Knight; plus a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other family and friends to cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David & Mary Weiland Knight; his daughter, Jessica Marie Knight; and by four siblings, John Knight, Bobby Knight, Mary Lou Schrooten, Betty Cantrell.
David worked as an electrician for CSX Railroad, where he was known for his skill, reliability, and strong work ethic. A graduate of DeSales High School, David carried with him the values of hard work, kindness, and gratitude throughout his life.
He was a race horse enthusiast who enjoyed visiting local tracks and sharing in the excitement of the sport. David also had a generous spirit-he loved to help others and was always willing to share what he had.
One of his favorite traditions was Sunday dinners at his mom's house, where he gathered with his loving family. He was deeply thankful for his raising and the strong family bond that shaped who he was.
David will be remembered for his giving nature, his love for family, and his appreciation for the simple joys of life. He often told others, "Always love, help and share."
The family of David Lee Knight will receive friends on Monday, November 10 beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
