Ann Pombo Obituary

Ann was born on April 20, 1947 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Denis Quinn and Rosanne McLaughlin whom was born in Springtown, County Longford, Ireland.
She attended catholic schools in both New York and Rhode Island and was currently a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Hagerstown, MD.
Ann worked as a waitress for most of her life until her retirement. She was employed by Charles Town Racetrack and also C&P Telephone, the U.S. Census Bureau, and the Washington County Board of Education as a crossing guard.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, ceramics, and Irish Dancing. She was very proud of her Irish heritage.
Ann is survived by her daughter Lori K. Pike (Robert) of Hagerstown, MD; daughter Michelle A. Gordon (Donald) Michelle has dual citizenship in Ireland and lives in Boonsboro, MD; daughter Dawn M. Spielman (Fred) of Frederick, MD; daughter Audri D. Nalley (Dale) of Sharpsburg, MD; son Shawn M. Pombo of Hagerstown, MD; sister Lorraine Quinn Takahashi (Peter) of Walton, NY; grandchildren: Christopher Pike, Joseph Pike (Jennifer), Carl Miller (Randi), Taylor McPherson (Ashley), Buck Burker (Connor), Payne Burker, Valerie Smith, Charles Kelley (Turquoise), Brittni Campbell (Ivan), Jay Knodle (Rayanna), Kaylianna Nalley (Andy), Devan Nalley, Lukas Nalley, Shawnea King-Pombo (Caitlyn), Shawn King-Pombo, Trenisha Roberson; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her grandsons Brett Andrew Miller and Dylan Jay Knodle; brother Owen Quinn.
Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday December 27, 2024 at 11:00am with Rev. Robert V. Robinson officiating. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00am at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD.
