Ann Constance Restini – (June 9th, 1917- May 28th, 2023)
Ann Restini (nee Gagliardi) died peacefully on May 28th in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born to the late Nora (Salvati) and Sebastian Gagliardi in Brooklyn, NY. She was pre-deceased by her siblings, Francis A. Gagliardi, MD, Marie Johnson, and Dora Vail. Using the professional name Ann Girard, she went on to work in banking, moving up in the ranks swiftly, eventually, becoming Executive Secretary to the President of Savings Banks Trust Company in New York, NY.
She married her late husband, Joseph Restini, in 1960 and resided in Flushing Queens for most of her life. She regularly went Swing Dancing with a large coterie of friends and could tell you the cast and plot of all her favorite black & white movies.
She is survived by her nieces and nephew Francis S. Gagliardi, MD, Sherril "Vicki" Senan, Suzanne Mobberley, Lisa Gagliardi, MD, and Alessandra Gagliardi. She leaves behind numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews who will miss her kind and lovely demeanor. Ann was beloved at her assisted living facility for her gentle and sweet nature. Ann participated in family Zoom calls during Covid, always fully made-up and with her hair and nails impeccably done.
