It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Ann Sangemino on August 30, 2025, in Toms River, New Jersey, surrounded by the love of her family.

Ann Sangemino, a remarkable woman whose journey began on December 28, 1935, in New York, was the matriarch of a close-knit family and is survived by her cherished son, Anthony Sangemino, her devoted daughter, Andrea Sangemino, and son-in-law Thomas Faia. Her story is further woven with the lives of her brothers, Anthony Patti and his wife Patricia and Ronald Patti and his wife Angela. As well as her cousins, nieces & nephews all of whom she loved dearly. Her family will forever remember her as the loving, selfless, and generous matriarch who always put others before herself.

As a young woman, Ann embarked on a career as a receptionist at CBS, where her warm demeanor and bright smile were a beacon of positivity. She then embraced her role as a mother & homemaker with unparalleled passion. Her home was a haven of comfort and joy, reflective of her nurturing spirit.

Ann's Christian faith was a cornerstone in her life, guiding her actions and providing strength and solace throughout her years. Her commitment to her faith was evident in the love and grace she extended to everyone around her.

Beyond her family and faith, Ann reveled in whipping up Italian culinary creations with recipes passed down from her family. She found joy & excitement in the rhythm of dancing to oldies, the discovery in traveling abroad, and the excitement of gambling in Atlantic City/Las Vegas. She approached each with an infectious zest for life.

But above all, Ann will be remembered for the love she poured into her family. Her love knew no bounds, and she was the embodiment of selflessness, always placing the needs and happiness of her loved ones above her own.

Ann's legacy will live on in the stories shared at family gatherings, the recipes passed down through generations, and the countless lives she touched with her open heart and selfless spirit. She was the embodiment of love and kindness, and her memory will endure as a testament to a life beautifully lived.

As we bid farewell to Ann, we do so with a celebration of her life, honoring her indelible impact on the lives she touched. Though her physical presence will be profoundly missed, the essence of who she was will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 5, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm

at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Rd., Toms River, NJ 08753.

Followed by Entombment at Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.

Thank you for joining us in remembering Ann Sangemino, a truly remarkable woman whose light shone brightly and whose spirit will forever be a guide and inspiration to us all. Her journey on earth may have concluded, but the story of her love and the beauty of her life will resonate for generations to come.
