BEDFORD ---- Ann Schramek, 84, who resided at Bowman Place Assisted Living Facility, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 28, 2024 in Bedford, NH.
Ann was born on September 6, 1939, in Manhattan, NY, the daughter of the late Mary (Pindulic) Mahoney.
Ann worked as a teacher's aide for Southside High School in Rockville Centre, New York. She loved reading, going to the beach and going to church. She was the ultimate jokester, but also had a heart made of gold. She made friends wherever she went and in her final year and a half, created deep and meaningful friendships at Bowman Place and these friends became our second family. We couldn't be more thankful for the staff and residents of Bowman Place for loving our mom.
She was the Queen of our Enchanted Castle when we lived on Long Island, Our Lovely Cindy, Loving Wife, Mom, Grandma, Gima and Great Grandma. The world is a little less funny now, but we know she has reunited with those that have gone before her. She is now reunited with her husband and our Dad/PopPop Arthur to whom she was married for 59 years, her mom Mary, her two brothers Thomas Antonic and Monsignor John Antoncic, and so many other friends and family members.
She is survived by her daughters Susan (Tim) and Ann (Peter); grandchildren, Kimberly, Harrison, Rae, and Thomas, and her great-grandson Gunnar.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 10am at St. Andre Bessette Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 at noon at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home & Cremation Services/603Cremations.com, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is assisting the family with the arrangements. For more information and to view an online memorial go to wilkinsonbeane.com.
