James A. Schramek (Jim) of Doylestown, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and three sons. He was 82 years old and will be remembered for his devotion to family, service to others, and love for golf.

Born in Lansing, Michigan, to the late John and Gertrude (Manning) Schramek, Jim's life journey took him from Flint, MI, to Richboro, PA, to Lake Orion, MI, and Myrtle Beach, SC, before settling in Doylestown, PA, in 2022.

He earned his bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in economics from Michigan State University. Jim dedicated 36 years to Delphi Corporation in Flint, MI, Trenton, NJ and Troy, MI, where he served as a Senior Internal Control Coordinator until his retirement in 2004.

He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Doylestown.

Jim was the beloved husband of 58 years to Sandy (Vogel) Schramek. He was a devoted father to Jeffrey (Lori), Andrew, and Daniel (Christine) Schramek; and a loving brother to Jean DeVries (David) and Joseph (Carol) Schramek. He was the proud grandfather of Jay, Emily, Andrea (James Trigg) Langner , Danielle, and James; and the cherished great-grandfather of Booker and Weston Langner.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Columbarium. Cremation services will be private. A luncheon at Wesley Enhanced Living (Heritage Hall) will follow at noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/).

Jim's legacy of love, faith, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
