Northbridge/ Webster- Ann M. (Fogarty) Stansbury, 80, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026 at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, after a period of declining health. Her husband of 40 years, Robert J. Stansbury Sr., passed away in 2006. She had been a resident the past 3 years, of Lanessa Nursing Home in Webster.

She is survived by her children, Robert J. Stansbury Jr. and his wife Herminia of Milford, TerriAnn Brochu and her husband Stephen of Bellingham, Michael C. Stansbury and his wife Sherry of Sudbury, and Troy E. Hawkins of Quincy; 5 grandchildren Robert J. Stansbury III, and Jessica Stansbury both of Milford, Louisa and her husband Kevin Leffert of Bellingham, Christopher Stansbury of Sudbury and Gracie Stansbury also of Sudbury, as well as nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late, John "Jack" Fogarty Jr., James Fogarty, Sarah Jane Knowlton, and Stephen Fogarty Sr., as well as 4 nephews, David, William, Matthew, and Stephen Fogarty Jr.

Born in Worcester on April 16, 1945 she was the daughter of John E. and Helen M. (McDonald) Fogarty and was raised in Framingham. She attended Framingham North High School and continued her education at Middlesex Community College, where she earned her nursing degree. She enjoyed a long and dedicated career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, practicing in New Jersey, Florida, and Massachusetts. Throughout her career, she worked at several healthcare facilities, including Framingham Union Hospital and Middlesex County Hospital, and also provided compassionate care as a home health nurse. She retired in 2022.She had been a resident of Coconut Creek, in Florida for 20 years with her husband Robert.

Mrs. Stansbury was a past coordinator for the Mendon Elderly Connection and played a key role in helping to establish the Mendon Senior Center. She was also a former member of the Shriners Ladies Auxiliary as a "Daisy." Ann was very artistic and enjoyed crocheting and painting. She and her husband shared a love of camping over the years, particularly in Pennsylvania. She was especially proud of her Irish heritage.

As to her wishes, Ann will be cremated, and her family will celebrate her life at a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Veteran's Inc, 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605, or to the Resource Development Office at SMOC, 7 Bishop St., Framingham, MA 01702.
