Ann Stevens Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lary Funeral Home - Dover-Foxcroft on Jan. 2, 2026.
Dover-Foxcroft - Ann L. Stevens was called by our heavenly Father, December 16, 2025, in Augusta, after a courageous four month battle with pneumonia. She was born October 27, 1948, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Ann was predeceased by her husband, Harold L. Stevens of Dover-Foxcroft; her parents, Dorothy and Conrad Shedek of Milford, CT; her sister, Ruth M. Shedek of Milford, CT; and her brother, A/1C Robert L. Nelson of Texas. She is survived by her three children, Christina Leblanc of Wallingford, CT, and her two sons, David and Nickolas, Robert Leblanc and wife, Laurie, of Madison and four children, Rachelle, Robert Christopher, Katie, and Kristi, and Angel Bragan and husband, Chris, and three children, Dustin, Shyla, and Lexi; nephew, Jason Blake; and several lifelong friends. Ann welcomed the newest member of her family in 2025, a great-granddaughter, Emory Ray Caron, who she enjoyed every moment with.

Family was paramount to Ann and she gave her all to those she loved. Ann gave her all to everything. She worked at several businesses in Piscataquis County over the years and fulfilled her dream of being a CNA. She made lasting friendships along the way.

Ann was adventurous and loved to travel; she truly loved life. Excelling in all she attempted from Girl Scout troop leader, outdoor sportsmanship, poetry, horseback riding, and gardening, to demolition derbies. In her 77 years she never stopped being active in her community; supporting her church and many charities. In honor of this, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to local animal shelters in lieu of flowers.

Visitations will be held 4PM Saturday, January 17, 2025, until time of memorial service at 5PM, with Rev. Ann Purdy officiating, at the Lary Funeral Home 62 Summer Street, Dover-Foxcroft. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
