Ann Young Obituary
Ann Young, age 91 of Lafayette, TN passed away Sunday afternoon, September 14, 2025 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. Ann is in the care of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette, TN.
Funeral Services for Ann Young will be conducted Friday morning, September 19, 2025, at 11:00 am from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette with Elder Dean Dyer, Brother Tony Day, Elder Jeff Likens officiating. Interment will follow in the Corinth Gardens.
Visitation will begin Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.
Family request memorials be made to the Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church #2. You may make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
She is preceded in death by: Parents, Edgar & Lillie Smith Davis, Husband, James Lewis Young, Grandson, Shannon J. Latham, Brother, Edward Davis, Sister, Virginia Davis, Son-in-law, Johnny Leonard Shipley.
Survivors include: Daughter, JoAnn Shipley of Lafayette, Sons, David Lewis Young of Gallatin, Leonard Young & companion, Sally Granito of Lafayette, Grandchildren, Travis J. Shipley & companion, Darlene, Misty Young & companion, Billy, Draven Young & wife, Semira, Jordan Shipley & wife, Makayla, Aaron Shipley & wife, Lindsey, 10 Great Grandchildren, Devoted Friend, Mildred Cox.
