Anna Lou Bacon

Anna Lou Bacon, age 86, of Salmon, Idaho, went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2025. She was surrounded by the love of her family, who were her greatest joy.

Born on December 6, 1938 in Des Arc, Arkansas, to Della and Bill Bullington, Anna lived a life characterized by hard-work, kindness, service, and love. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose family meant the world to her. She modeled her life after Christ's love for others, always seeking ways to serve, encourage, and bring joy to those around her.

Anna had a gift for making others feel special and cherished, through her warm and welcoming presence, caring heart, and thoughtful generosity. She loved gardening, baking, and creating unique stained-glass pieces, hobbies through which she expressed her creativity and care for her family and friends. Many will remember the joy of her homemade treats and the beauty of her art, both in the gardens and her glass pieces.

Her faith was the foundation of her life. She found great purpose in serving within her church community and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Bill Bacon, daughters Kim (JR) Miles, Lynn (Tim) Pilkerton, Angie (Don) York and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Della Bullington, brother Bill Bullington and son in law Mike Brennan.

A celebration of Anna's life will be held at Calvary Chapel on September 20th at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor her memory.

Anna's life was a testament to God's love, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
