Anna Mae Baer

Anna Mae Baer, 100, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at White River Lodge in Bedford.

Born December 8, 1925, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Arlie and Hattie Mae (Lechner) Harris.

She married Lee Dorsett, and he preceded her in death in 1967. She later married James Baer in 1999, and he preceded her in death in 2013.

Anna Mae graduated from Bedford High School.

She worked at Citizens’ National Bank for over 40 years in the Loan Department.

Anna Mae enjoyed traveling, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bedford.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her daughter, Leanne (Michael) Trueblood; granddaughter, Lori (Trevor) Rynders; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee Rynders, Emmi (Jake) Alvey, Trace Rynders, and Chase Rynders.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Dorsett; husband, James Baer; and one brother.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the Limestone Chapel of George Funeral Care at 527 15th Street, Bedford, with Steve Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from Noon until the service hour on Tuesday at the Limestone Chapel in Bedford.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Bedford, in memory of Anna Mae Baer.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at White River Lodge for their great care over the last 10 years.
