Obituary published on Legacy.com by John J. Buettgen Funeral Home - Schofield on Oct. 1, 2025.
Anna Louise Bauman, a vibrant individual who touched the lives of many, passed away with her loving family by her side, at the age of 41 on August 22, 2025. Her life was tragically cut short due to a massive stroke at Marshfield Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.
Born on September 9, 1983, in Ontonagon, Michigan, Anna's formative years were spent with family and friends, advocating for those in need and positively impacting the lives of those who met her. She graduated from DC Everest Senior High School in 2002.
In her free time, Anna engaged in various activities that brought her joy and fulfillment. She found pleasure in bowling and fishing during the warmer months and cherished bonfires with friends and family. An avid sports enthusiast, she was particularly fond of watching the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR races. Anna also enjoyed playing pool and throwing darts-activities that showcased her competitive spirit while allowing for social interaction.
Beyond recreational pursuits, Anna was deeply committed to caring for others. Known for her unwavering loyalty and protective nature towards loved ones, she embodied the essence of selflessness. Friends often remarked that she would give anyone in need "the shirt off her back." This innate desire to help others extended beyond mere gestures; it manifested as a lifelong commitment to advocacy for those who could not advocate for themselves. If she loved you, that love was forever. She was extremely loyal to those she loved. She will always be remembered for her ability to make anybody laugh, especially if they were having a rough day. She truly was one of a kind.
Anna is survived by her parents, David Bauman(Sandy) and Lucinda Moody (Earl Jensen), her children, Adam Bauman and Jayden Bauman, her siblings, Amy Wadman (Tom Dreyer) and Ashley George(Andrew), nieces Grace Gierszewski and Sophie Gierszewski, and many aunts and uncles.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Grandma & Grandpa Turner, Paternal grandparents, Grandma Pat & Grandpa Al, and her close cousin, Adam Bauman. Anna's legacy will live on through her children, who loved her dearly.
