Hagerstown, MD – Anna Marie Castle, 69, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025, at her home.
She was born on February 6, 1956, in Jefferson County, WV to the late Robert Lee and Arlena V. Longerbeam.
Anna received her associate degree from Hagerstown Community College. She was a registered nurse at Washington County Hospital for 25 years until her retirement. She was very passionate about her career in nursing.
She loved her grandson and spending time with him.
Anna is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas Lee Castle; daughter Deanna D. Castle; grandson Curran A. Earnest; brother Robert Longerbeam (Sharon); brother Larry Longerbeam (Sharon); brother Wally Longerbean; 2 pugs Rascal and Sid; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Julia A. Agee, and her brothers Gary Longerbeam and Donald Longerbeam.
Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 11:00 am with Pastor Jack Payne officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday from 9:30-11:00 am. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery Sharpsburg, MD.
