Anna DeBoard Obituary
Anna Mae DeBoard, age 99 of Medway, Ohio passed away peacefully on August 6, 2024. She was born April 13, 1925 in Wheelersburg, Ohio daughter of the late Denny and Olga (Roark) Hensley.
Anna was loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Growing up she was an athlete playing in several sports. She worked several jobs over the years. She was known for driving the School Bus for Fairborn City Schools and for sewing the bows on womens shoes. Annas hobbies including sewing, crafting, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
May Anna be remembered always and may God keep his hands wrapped around her forever.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Elzy DeBoard; infant daughter; daughter, Nancy Bryant; son, Michael DeBoard; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Bill DeBoard and Larry (Katherine) DeBoard; 7 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several nieces; as well as several other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45404. A funeral service will begin at 10:00am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
