Anna DeFazio

Anna DeFazio (nee Costanzo), of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025. She was 94 years of age.
Born in Jersey City, Anna was a lifelong resident of the Greenville Section. She worked as a sales manager for the Sears Roebuck Co. in Bayonne and later, Staten Island for many years before retiring. Later on in life, Anna worked for Hallmark Greeting Cards.
She would organize bus trips to Atlantic City for her neighbors and family members to enjoy. Anna was always the life of the party and more than anything, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, Alphonse and Josephine Costanzo, her son, Steven M. DeFazio and her siblings, Joseph, Charles, Nicholas and Thomas Costanzo, Carmela Risi and Rose Colasurdo.
Anna is survived by her granddaughter, Maria DeFazio as well as many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who has reached out and offered love and support during this difficult time.
Visitation will be at the Chapel at Peace Care St. Ann's, 198 Old Bergen Road, Jersey City, NJ on Friday, March 28th from 10-11 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington.
