Anna Mae Enck, 75, of Manheim, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 14, 2025. Born into a farming family from Lebanon, she was crowned Lancaster County Dairy Princess 1967. Anna Mae was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Mae K. Mase Donough. She was the loving wife of her soulmate, the late Jeffrey J. “Jeff” Enck who died in 2022. Anna Mae was a craft maker for 20 years of custom teddy bears. She owned and operated the former Treasurers of Missimer-Weil Gift Shop, Manheim and operated a daycare at her home from 1978 to 1993. Anna Mae loved The Lord, never met a stranger, she always served and put others ahead of herself. Her greatest passion in life was her family, whom she poured her entire life into and in return, was adored by them all.
Surviving are three sons, Chad husband of Mary Chris “Chrissie” Eckenroth Enck, Jason Enck and Joshua husband of Kristen Eshelman Enck, 11 grandchildren: Dillan husband of Samantha, Nathanial husband of Alanna, Austin, Caleb, Faith wife of Lucas Boyd, Chloe, Ava, MaKenna, Riley, Landon and Haven Enck, two great grandchildren: Rosalie and Elias Enck and six siblings: Robert husband of Barbara Miller Donough, Edward husband of LaRue Fabian Donough, Kathleen Cassel, Steven husband of Lucinda Wilson Donough, Timothy husband of Brenda March Donough and Cynthia wife of Bob Lepard.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Anna Mae’s Funeral Service at Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 48 Market Square, Manheim on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 12:30 PM. There will be a viewing at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 AM – 12:00 noon. Interment will be private in Manheim Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Anna Mae’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
