Anna Corrine Instine

CABLE – Anna Corrine Instine, 89 of Cable, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Anna was born on June 27, 1935 in Falmouth, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Otis Donald and Mildred (Cummins) Wright. Anna graduated from Dayton High School in Falmouth.

A devoted member of the Middletown Church of God for over 60 years, Anna's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She considered the church her second home, where she played an active and influential role in various ministries, including women's groups and youth groups. Her unwavering support and dedication to her church family were evident in all she did. As a loving wife to her husband Robert, Anna served alongside him in the ministry, helping him lead their congregation and offering her time, prayers, and heart to the work they did.

Anna's commitment to family extended beyond the church. She and Robert were married on June 6, 1956 in Springfield, and together they raised their son who also became a pastor, continuing the legacy of faith and service to God. Anna worked for over 30 years at the Champaign Telephone Company as a telephone operator. Alongside her husband, Anna also worked on the family farm, demonstrating a hard-working spirit that marked every aspect of her life.

Anna's love for her family was evident in everything she did, especially for her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. Her legacy of faith, service, and love will live on through them and all who were blessed to know her.

Anna is survived by her husband, Reverend Robert Earl Instine; her daughter, Roberta (David) Best of North Lewisburg; her son, John (Sonja) Instine of Woodstock; grandchildren, Leslie, Eric, Michael, Matthew, Zachary, Rebecca, Trevor; great-grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Mackenzie, Faith, Carson, Jack, Lily, Herbert, Jacob, Brooklynn, Lewis and one great-great-grandchild, Saylor.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Patricia Mazure; her brothers, Paul (Sue) Wright, Jerry (Anne) Wright and infant brother Joey.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, in FRESHWATER, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, North Lewisburg, Ohio.

Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with her son, Pastor John Instine, officiating.

Burial will follow in Jenkins Chapel Cemetery.
