Anna Kosior

Anna (Jedryszka) Kosior, 90, of Wethersfield, beloved wife for 56 years of the late Stefan Kosior, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2025, surrounded by her family at her home. Born in Poland on July 20, 1934, daughter of the late Stefan and Karolina (Paluch) Jedryszki, she was raised in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1964 and settled in Hartford. Anna raised her children in Hartford and then moved to Wethersfield in 1987 where she had lived until the time of her passing. A devout Catholic throughout her life, Anna was a parishioner of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church in Hartford for over 60 years. She leaves two children, Robert A. Kosior and his wife Dana of Canton, and Elizabeth Kozon and her husband Adam of South Windsor; four grandchildren, Kelly Kozon and Matthew Kozon of South Windsor, Katie Kosior of New York City and Jenna Kosior of Canton; a sister, Krystyna Podlesna of Lubartow, Poland; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by an infant son, Thomas Kosior. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 9-10 a.m., at the Waszkelewicz South Green Memorial Home, 43 Wethersfield Ave., Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m., at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 63 Popieluszko Court, Hartford. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Memorial contributions may be made to SS. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Anna's wonderful caregivers over the last several years, especially Ewa, Ania, and Halina, who lovingly cared for Anna at her home.
