Anna Lapolla Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lyons Funeral Home on May 8, 2025.
Anna Lapolla, 90, of Danvers, passed away peacefully at her home on May 7, 2025.
Born in Panni, Italy, on January 31, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Raffaella Calitri. Anna immigrated to the United States and built a beautiful life centered around her deep love for family.
A dedicated homemaker, Anna created a warm and welcoming home where traditions thrived and generations were nurtured. She was a devoted wife for 55 years to her beloved husband, the late Antonio Lapolla, and found her greatest joy in caring for her children and grandchildren. Her meals were always made with love, her garden was lovingly tended, and her heart was always open.
She was a longtime parishioner of St. Mary of the Annunciation Church in Danvers.
Anna is survived by her three loving children: Luigina Maniscalco and her husband Thomas, Antonietta Bellizzi and her husband Robert, and Joseph Lapolla and his wife Karen. She also leaves behind her cherished sister, Mary Brooks, and her husband Donald, as well as seven beloved grandchildren: Carla Giovinco and her husband Francesco, Vincent Maniscalco and his wife Adina, Carolina and Ava Bellizzi, Anthony Lapolla and his wife Meaghan, Brianna Lapolla, and Kelsey Lapolla and her fiancé Ian Keilty; and her great-grandson, Salvatore Lapolla.
She was predeceased by her siblings Joseph Calitri and his wife Anna, and Antinetta Ciruolo and her husband Sam.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 10:00a.m. in Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Committal will follow in the Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Sunday from 4:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
