Minnie Pearl was a beacon of joy in her family, creating cherished memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched. The laughter shared during Good Friday gatherings and the joy of New Year's dinners will remain a beautiful testament to her loving nature and the close-knit family bonds she nurtured. These occasions were not mere events to Minnie; they encapsulated her belief in togetherness, the essence of love, and the warmth of family ties.
One of Minnie's greatest passions was spending time outdoors—she delighted in going camping, making cherished memories under the stars and sharing stories around a fire. Yet, nothing brought her more joy than the time spent with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. They were her pride and joy, her laughter, her heartbeat. Each moment spent with them was a treasure—whether it was teaching them a new skill, laughing over shared jokes, or simply enjoying the peace of their company.
Anna “Minnie Pearl” is survived by her husband of 51 years, Wilbert Leger, Sr.; sons, Wilbert Leger, Jr. (Desiree), Bobby Leger (Brandy); daughter, Tammy Vidrine; brothers, Velton Vidrine (Delores), Ricky Vidrine (Tout), Lee Vidrine and James Vidrine; sister, Anna Lee Vidrine; 7 grandchildren, Hunter Leger (fiancé, Olivia), Cody Leger (fiancé, Ally), Kylie Dominguez (Haven), Brianna Leger (fiancé, Cade Disotell), Madison Leger, Taylor Thibodeaux, Madilyn Leger (fiancé, Cade Metrejean); and 6 great-grandchildren.
