Anna S. Lodwick, age 92, passed away Friday, July 18, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama. Anna was born on September 3, 1932, in Hammond, Louisiana, to Clifford Kenner Smith, Sr. and Rhoda Mae Hoggatt.
She was the proud owner of a medical supply and mastectomy business, where she spent many years providing essential products and services. Anna was also an active member of the Luke 4:18 Fellowship, embodying her commitment to faith and community service.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Anna was a family-centered individual who loved spending quality time with friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia "Cyndi" Lodwick Bellina (Barry); son, William John “Bill” Lodwick (Beth); grandchildren, Brandan Rose "Brandy" Bellina, Rory Vincent Bellina (Danielle), Rebekah Elizabeth Lodwick Gates (Steven), Rachel Lodwick Hamner (Dean), and Chandler Lodwick; great-grandchildren, Jackson Reid Bellina, Lila Grace Bellina, Charlotte Cate "Charlee" Bellina, and Marshall Allen Gates; and Anna's niece, Kelly Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Thomas Warren Lodwick; her father, Clifford Kenner Smith Sr.; her mother, Rhoda Mae Hoggatt; and her brother, Clifford Kenner Smith, Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, located at 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Springhill Memorial Hospital, and the friends and family who supported them with well wishes and prayers in this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to their favorite charities or that the donor spend quality time with loved ones.
