Anna Marie Lopez

Memorial services for Anna Lopez will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the Marshall Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ethan Stocking officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
Anna Marie, daughter of James Lonnie and Angie Mary (Madrid) McHenry, was born April 29, 1966, at Fort Sumner, New Mexico and passed away November 7, 2025, at Oklahoma City at the age of 59 years, 6 months, and 9 days. She was the first child and she knew it without a doubt.
When Anna was three years old her mother (Angie) took her to the doctor because Anna could not talk. The doctor told Angie to be prepared because when she starts talking she will never stop. Boy, was that doctor ever so right! (LOL) She kept talking about anything and all things.
Anna was a 1984 graduate of Merritt High School in Elk City, Oklahoma where she was a cheerleader and a participant in track and field. Later in life, Anna gave birth to four girls and gave them the best lives that she could.
Anna worked as a CNA and Activities Director at the Cherokee Manor where she made lifelong friends with Lisa Diel and Sherri Judd. She was a traveler and if you needed a road companion, she was the one to take and keep you awake with her stories (like earlier, a talker).
She was raised by her grandmother Mary and her best friend on earth, Patsy Gutierrez. Not only was Patsy her best friend, but was also her aunt. Anna will be truly missed by her friends of Heritage Park in Bethany where she was a bright light that had gone dim. She will also be missed deeply by her beautiful family.
Besides her dad and mom, Jim and Angie, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lonnie McHenry; her sister, Lois McHenry; her Grandma Mary Madrid; and a granddaughter, Aaliyah Nolan.
Anna is survived by her daughters, Tambra Martin and husband, Brock, and their children, Keianna, Kyler, Brycelyn, and Stetson of Alva, Anghelina and Randall Burk and family of Lawton, Lonnie Lucero Lopez and Luciana of Clovis, New Mexico, and Micheala and Sky Nolan and family of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Donna and Billy Irvin and family of Cherokee, and Lindsey McHenry and family of El Reno; twelve grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the funeral home.
