Anna (Ann) Mero, 76, of Hamilton Square, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ.
Born in Pieniezno, Poland, Ann resided in Hamilton Square with her family for the past 42 years.
Daughter of the late Stanislaw Domzalski and Zofia Weslowska. She is survived by her loving husband John, daughter Erika, sister Zofia in Poland and several nieces and nephews also in Poland. She is predeceased by 5 sisters and brothers.
Ann loved to travel with her husband and daughter throughout the year. Her favorite spots were: Mystic Seaport, CT; Colonial Williamsburg, VA; Outer Banks, NC; Myrtle Beach, NC;
Jekyll Island, GA;
Pigeon Forge, TN going to Dollywood;
Memphis, TN going to Graceland; Margaritaville Resort in
Orlando, FL along with Disney World and to wherever her husband and daughter could think of next, that could be reached by car and no other form of transportation.
Ann was always dressed to the "nines" and always had to have a matching scarf that matched her outfit. Her favorite things to do were shopping with her daughter, fancy restaurants, playing family card games, listening to polkas, dancing and enjoying a cup of tea that had to be served from a beautiful tea pot. One of her greatest thrills was to be able to meet Jimmy Sturr at the St. Hedwig's Parish Anniversary affair. She loved going to work to be able to talk to and help so many people from the St. Hedwig's Parish family. Ann spent many hours, days, months and years transporting Erika to her dance lessons, and enjoyed waiting around and talking with the other moms until they were over. Her greatest pleasure from all this time spent for lessons was watching Erika's recitals and performances while she was learning to dance and now watching the performances and recitals of the students that Erika has been teaching Ann was even involved with this in that Erika always needed help with choosing the music for the pieces as well as helping to add a special sparkle to the costumes for the performers in only the way Ann could.
