Mrs. Anna Louise Musick, age 92, passed away Thursday (September 25, 2025) in Chilhowie, Virginia. Born August 15, 1933 in Russell County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Ellen Cook Honaker. A lifelong resident of the area, she had formerly been employed at Honaker Mills Sewing Factory and was a member of East Lebanon Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed working puzzles and attending church. A devoted and loving, wife, mother, and grandmother, she found her greatest joys spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mid Joseph Musick; infant son, Mid Musick, Jr.; daughter, Jackie Lester; two sons-in-law, Steve Lester and Johnny Woodward; grandson, Lance Woodward; and siblings, Alvin Honaker, Arnold Honaker, and Marie Smith.

Survivors include two daughters, Fayelene Woodward, and Mary Virginia Hess and husband, Lynn; ten grandchildren, Jeffrey Miller, Tonya Maxfield, John Lester, Gary Woodward, Tony Woodward, Johnny Woodward, Jr., Tara McCoy, Randall Hess, Tressa Dye, Sharon Hess, and Timmy Lester; sisters, Dorothy Cochran, Lona Duncan, and Betty Ruth Ball; twenty-three great-grandchildren, thirty great-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-great-grandchildren also survive.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Charlotte Townsend and the Staff of Valley Healthcare Center for the loving care they provided.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Larry Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Miller, John Lester, Gary Maxfield, Johnny Woodward, Jr., Randall Hess, Gary Woodward, and Tony Woodward.

The family will receive friends from 12 -1 PM Monday at the funeral home.
