Anna Oleski Obituary
Born on November 1, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Anna Gavlick Oleski. A woman of sharp intellect, Anna graduated as the Valedictorian of Wyoming High School. Choosing a path of dedicated hard work over further education, she spent her career as a skilled bookkeeper and payroll clerk for Nelson Brothers and later for Goodyear.
Anna found joy in the quiet pleasures of life. She was an avid reader and found great satisfaction mastering crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary, Agnes, Lillian, Stella, Faustine, Pauline, and Antoinette; and her brothers, John, Joseph, Andrew, Louis, and George.
Her memory lives on through her surviving sister, Theresa Satkowski of Wyoming, and her many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to her devoted caretakers-Sue LaNunziata, Beth Kirby, Brenda Jordan, Pat Butchko, Dawn Basile, and Patrice Yurek-for the exceptional care and kindness they showed Anna. Special thanks are also extended to her neighbors, Mike and Mary Flynn, for their unwavering support.
In keeping with Anna's wishes, a private Blessing Service was held followed by interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
