Anna M. Pastula

Anna (Anne) M. Pastula, age 94, of South Burlington, VT died on May 2, 2025 at the Green Mountain Nursing & Rahab Center. She was born in Hartford, CT on Oct. 15, 1930, the daughter of Michael and Ida (Sylvester) Pastula. She was pre-deceased by: her brother James R. Pastula in 1984; her beloved Uncle George B. Tetreault in 1986; and her dearest friend Berthilde (Bette) K. Zajac in 2022. Anne is survived by a loving niece, Dorothy (Pastula) Bryan and husband Larry of East Hartford, and her cherished friends of Meriden, CT – the Zajac Family. Anne served in the US Navy being honorably discharged on Nov. 11, 1957. She worked as a Payroll Administrator for Connecticut Natural Gas in downtown Hartford for over 30 years, before retiring to Vermont in 1984. Anne will be remembered as a generous friend, an adventurous traveler, a happy reveler of summertime (at her Holland, MA cottage), a skilled bargain hunter, and a devoted cat lover.
