Anna Scourtes Obituary
She was born November 9, 1962 in Wayne County to the late John Scourtes and Betty Culberson.
Anna graduated from Yale High School in 1981. She enjoyed woodworking, gardening and any outdoor activity. Growing up, Anna was a member of the local 4H, where she participated in the annual 4H fair showing her horse. Anna was an avid animal lover from a young age.
Anna is survived by her son, Dylan (Fen) Gibbons; stepmother, Shirley Scourtes; siblings, Lou Howard, Paulette (Pete) Michelz, Francene (Tony Biscarner) Smith, John Scourtes and Jacob (Jamie) Scourtes. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is predeceased by her, father, John E. Scourtes; mother, Betty J. Culberson; brother, Bryan Lynn Culberson; a special angel, John Kaczmarczyk as well as her cherished fur babies, Ditters, Lily and Jose.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Medilodge of Yale and Kristi Cahours for the great love and care to Anna.
A celebration of Anna's life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Life Celebration Center, 4521 Ravenswood Road, Kimball, MI 48074. Funeral services will begin 12:00 p.m. Randy Mayle will officiate. A reception will follow in The Lindke Hall.
