WORCESTER-Anna C. (Tangring) Stenstrom, 90, formerly of 29 Halmstead Street passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2006 in the Lutheran Home where she had resided for almost three years. She leaves her husband of 64 years, John Arthur Stenstrom, two sisters, Nancy M. Dahl of Canyon Lake, CA and Jean E. Berglund of Worcester, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Barbara Loconto and a brother Carl Tangring in 1986. A brother Gustaf "Gussie" Tangring, missing in action in the South Pacific during World War II was presumed dead in 1945.

She was born in Munkfors, Sweden, daughter of Carl H. and Laura (Bock) Tangring and came to the United States in 1922. Anna worked as a bookkeeper for Heffernan Press for 25 years. She also worked for Hollander Johnson until she retired in 1985. She belonged to the Nordic Lodge for many years.

A private graveside service will be held at All Faith's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler Street is directing arrangements. For online condolence book please visit www.lindquistlundin.com
