Anna Wade Obituary
Born in Mt. Holly, NJ, Anna Mae resided in Medford, NJ, most of her life before moving to the LeisureTowne section of Southampton, NJ seven years ago. She retired from Parker McKay Law Firm in Marlton after 50 years of service. She was a lifelong parishioner at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church in Medford, and a volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. In her younger years she volunteered and donated her time to the Special Olympics and numerous local organizations. Anna Mae was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother who was very vocal while she enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports. She will be missed by everyone she loved and knew.
Daughter of the late Rose and Joe Canale; sister of the late John Canale (Joan), and Alfred Canale (JoAnn); she is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, George Wade; four loving children, Kelly Miller (Lee), David Wade (Christine), Scott Wade (Kristin), and Adam Wade (Lisa); her brother, Joseph Canale (Charlotte); her sister, Catherine Bozarth (Don); 13 grandchildren, Tina Cherneff (Nick), Nicholas Aristone (Abigail), Annalise Aristone, Wade Miller, Zachary Wade, Jake Wade, Jack Wade, Liam Broderick, Travis Wade, Ava Broderick, Sydney Wade, Ronan Broderick and Julia Wade; 5 great grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth, Teddy, Michael and June; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 4-6PM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. The viewing will continue on Monday, February 5, from 10-11AM, at St. Mary of the Lakes R.C. Church, 40 Jackson Rd., Medford, NJ. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11AM, at the church.
Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Anna Mae's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Jones Road, P.O. Box 1131, Medford, NJ 08055.
