It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone. Part of us went with you the day GOD called you home. Anna Bell Watters was born March 14th, 1945, in Norwood Georgia to the late Virginia Ivery. She entered eternal rest on November 1st, 2025, at the age of 80. Anna attended Central High school on Broad St, currently Cosi in Columbus, Ohio. She was a woman of many gifts and had a generous heart.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age which guided her through life and its ups and downs. Anna was the mother of Curtis (Sharon) Clark, Tina (Kevin) Williams, Vincent (Candace) Clark, Christopher (Nadja) Clark Sheila Stubblefield and Joyce Wilson. As a young woman she worked at triple A, and Glick's furniture store. She enjoyed spending time with friends, family and serving in her community, including where she lived (Nazareth Towers).
Anna was a member of the Lord's Table Ministries on Livingston Avenue. She was also an entrepreneur, and in her leisure, you could find her whipping up something good in the kitchen, or making her homemade chocolate covered turtles, Pretzels, Pralines, and caramel popcorn. In 1980, Anna and her late husband Collins Watters started their first business Computer Payroll Service, later she started Visions Cleaning Services along with Viantus Candy Company making her famous homemade candy. She enjoyed traveling, visiting loved ones wherever they may be.
Anna will live in the memories of her brothers and sisters Gary (Hazel) Battle, Samuel (Connie) Battle, Allen Battle, James Battle, Carolyn Battle, and grandchildren Curtis Jr., Katrina, Canessa, Erika, Kiona, VJ, (Diane) Brandace (Chris) Kevin Jr., Dejuan, Tino, Carlos, Deon Nichos, Jaime, Jidon, Jave, Juliono, Jackie, Daria Trent, Marqus, Elijah, Christian, Joseph, Aveon, Amir, AJ, Arron, Anthony, Alex, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, cousins and many friends.
She taught her children the importance of God and how to take care of themselves. Anna will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, her friendly nature and a forgiving heart. Anna is preceded in death by her parents Virginia (Edward) Ivery Frances Lee husband Collins Watters, brothers Abert miller, Michael Battle, Gregory Battle, grandson Carlos Wiilis. Special friends Pastor Radney, Pam, Steve Jackson, Beverly Brown and very special friends Kenneth Clark, and Shevelle Prentiss. May her legacy continue for many generations to come.
