Anna Yuse Obituary
Anna E. Yuse, age 91, of Cheshire, CT, died on January 23, 2023. Ann was born on August 5, 1931, in New Haven, CT, and was the daughter of the late Edward Yuse and Elizabeth (Goldups) Yuse. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Yuse, Jr. and her sister, Joan Lendroth. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Karpel and brother-in-law, Philip Karpel, and her brother, Peter Yuse, and sister-in-law, Janet Yuse, and by 6 nephews and nieces and several grandnephews and grandnieces. Ann was the office manager for the T. Harold Fitzsimmons Insurance Agency in New Haven, CT for over 40 years. In her retirement she acted as bookkeeper for her friend, Robert Iannucci, and she was an officer on the Board of Directors of the Southwick Homeowners Association. Ann was a regular congregant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Hamden, CT. Sisk Brothers Funeral Home in Hamden, CT is in charge of arrangements. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held at the convenience of the family at a future date.

It´s hard to believe you´re gone, Anne. Working with you was a great learning experience! You taught me so much. I´ll never forget your kindness and having the patience to teach me how to be a great cookie baker. You will be missed. May you rest in peace in the hands of God. It´s hard to believe you´re gone, Anne. Working with you and "the boss, Fitzy" was quite the experience, but I´ll never forget your kindness. Kindness that didn´t stop there - you touched so many lives with that kindness - me, Jeff, my father and the kids: Jenna, Arielle and Jordan - and many others with whom you came in contact. You will be missed - May you rest in peace in the hands of God.

Anne was a wonderful, warm, and caring person. Growing up, she would always send baked goods, jams, and blankets that she made herself, home with my grandfather to be enjoyed by me and my siblings. She will be missed deeply.
