Annabelle Cocci Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Annabelle Jean Cocci, age 83, on July 17, 2025 at The Grand Rehabilitation.
Born Annabelle Jean Cocci 14 Delphi, Colorado on June 6, 1942 to Toivo Adolph Kangas and Theresa E. (Schraft) Kangas. She first grew up on the western part of Colorado before the family moved back to Laurens, New York. She graduated from Laurens High School and went to SUNY Delhi where she met Erman and they soon married on September 2, 1961. They bounced around New York State until they settled in Guilderland, New York in 1971. Annabelle was involved with the P.T.A.; Booster Club, working the concession stand, Ladies Auxiliary and the V.F.W.
In the mid nineties, Annabelle wanted to snowbird it and they moved to Naples, Florida, enjoying life.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Carolee (Died April 4, 2025) and her husband Erman (Died May 8, 2023). Annabelle is survived by her son Michael, cousin William, Brother-in-law Ralph, along with other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday July 24, 2025 from 4pm-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A memorial service will begin at 6pm at the funeral home.
