Annabelle Lou Coss passed away June 30, 2024. She was born August 5, 1926, to George and Ester Hook Brown, of Vigo County, Indiana. She was the widow of Herbert E. Coss, who died in 1989. Preceding her in death were her parents; her daughter, Esther Mughmaw; four sisters, Virginia Woodall, Betty Gordon, Martha Joan Ring, and Eunice Slater; and six brothers, Arthur, Harry, George Jr., Ernest, Donald, and Robert Brown.
Survivors include sons, Russell, Mark (Cathy), Jeffrey (Tammy), Raymond (Judy), and Gary (Melva); nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Annabelle lived in the Ben Davis area for over 70 years. She enjoyed many family gatherings, reading, bowling, and the many great friends she met in the years she lived in the area.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Flanner Buchanan – Floral Park. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with funeral service at 1pm. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery.
