October 9, 1949 - January 29, 2026
Garner, North Carolina - Anne Mason Davis, 76, of Garner, NC, passed away following a lengthy illness on January 29, 2026. Born on October 9, 1949 to the loving arms of the late Daniel and Katherine Mason, she will be deeply missed.
Anne is survived by her loving husband, Richard Davis; son, Bryan Davis; and sister, Janet Nottingham.
Anne enjoyed music, playing viola in the Broughton High School orchestra. Following a career at BellSouth, she loved traveling and antiquing. She and Richard enjoyed many hours of sailing on the Neuse River near New Bern, and the camaraderie of other sailors at Blackbeard Sailing Club. Anne developed a love of line dancing. She taught a line dance class at the Garner Senior Center and lead of a group that performed in nursing homes, as well senior living facilities, and competed at the State Fair.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 6th, 2026 at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the V Foundation.
