Anne Wheeler Evans, blessed with a happy heart and born-again spirit, met her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, who she loves so much, face to face on August 11, 2025.
Always an individual, free, full of life, ideas, creativity and talents. Lover of beauty, goodness, honesty and truth. Blessed with God's wisdom and gifted with being an encourager and a generous giver, having a hearty laugh and knowing how to be thankful, appreciative, strong and cheerful throughout life.
Born to Dan G. Wheeler, Jr. and Sara Grant Wheeler on October 6, 1936. Grew up on Miami Beach during WW II years and then the family along with her sister, Linda Sue Wheeler McClarnon, transitioned to Miami. Attended University of Florida. Married Loring Palmer Evans Jr., raising her family in Coral Gables with uncommon, selfless love, devotion and enjoyment! Mother to son, Palmer Evans (Karen) and daughter, Julie Anne Evans, granddaughter, Sarah Evans Pagnani (Anthony) and great grandson, Anthony Joseph Pagnani IV "Tony".
Later years, Anne moved to the West Coast of Florida with her daughter, continuing to be an avid gardener and grower of orchids, a gourmet cook, cherishing nature, her home and many beloved pets... a life filled with joy, peace and contentment. most of all, a lasting legacy of being involved in various ministries that spread the Gospel, blessed Israel and ministered to those in need.
Her life verse, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13 Anne, so very loved '-' truly a woman pure in heart with no guile. A life journey well done here and Father God says her best life has just begun for all eternity! Rejoice!
