Anne Harris Obituary
Beloved spouse of Steve Ainsworth. Dear sibling of Elizabeth (Michael) Solley and Richard (Sally) Lane. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Anne graduated from Oakland University with a degree in Computer Science, but they forged a career as an author of various fiction works. In all, they published over fourteen novels, in addition to numerous online stories. They also served as an adjunct professor at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA, and was a founding member of Metro Detroit Improv.
In their free time, Anne delighted in finding new culinary spots, and they sought out new restaurants near and far. A memorable trip overseas took them to Amsterdam, Manchester, London, and Paris-a sequence of destinations where the cuisine only got better as they hopped from city to city. Closer to home, Anne loved spending time up north at the place on Pearl Lake that they shared with Steve. Deeply loved by their family and friends, Anne will be dearly missed.
A private memorial service will be held.
