Anne Holleran Obituary

Anne Marie Holleran (60) of North Port, Florida passed away on October 3, 2025, after a brief illness in Venice, Florida. She is preceded in death by her father G Thomas Holleran (1983) and mother Marian T Holleran-Vorp (2016), and sister-in-law Tammy Holleran (2017).

She is survived by her brother John Holleran of Maryville TN and John's granddaughter Skylar, numerous step-siblings and cousins, and her fur baby's Bella and Chloe.

Anne grew up in Bradford, PA and Asheville, NY. She graduated from Chautauqua Central School in 1982 before attending SUNY Empire State College of NY. She had degrees in Criminology and Psychology. During her career, she worked in law enforcement, private security and investigations, social work, hurricane disaster recovery, and elder care while living in New York, North Carolina, Texas, and Florida. Anne published greeting cards under the name Annie's Xpressions through Blue Mountain Arts, as well as other published artwork and poems. In 2025, she felt the creative spark that had been missing for years and submitted artwork and poems in the hope of being published once again.

Anne loved nature, animals, the beach, surfing, the warmth of the sun, and sand between her toes. She advocated for the under-privileged and disadvantaged and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice, Florida. She touched all that she met with her caring, compassionate ways; always concerned about others despite her own circumstances. She will be forever missed by family and friends.
