On Monday, September 22, 2025, Anne (Annie) Marie Lake-Knapp passed away at the age of 46. Born in 1979 in Poughkeepsie, Anne was a spitfire from the start. She came from a family who loved hard and played harder, qualities she kept her entire life. Growing up her family's favorite park was Victor Waryas Park along the Hudson, where they all enjoyed fishing.

Throughout adulthood Anne loved to cliff jump and ride BMX bikes. She loved music, drawing, and dancing. Although she went through struggles and hard times, she was able to turn her life around. Anne loved family, but was extremely community focused. Person after person has remarked that whenever they saw Annie, she was always making sure they had enough and were okay. She was known to give the food from her plate to others making sure that everyone was fed. Anne spent her days with her partner of over ten years, Justin Coffee. They enjoyed doing puzzles and reading books together. Annie was a big bright soul that will be missed by many.

Anne is predeceased by her mother, Patricia Ann Baker and her father, James Edward Lake. She survived by her two siblings, her partner, Justin Coffee of ten years, her seven children, Tabitha(28), Christopher(26), Jabkuyia(19), Albert(15), Mkuyia(11), Joesiah(11), and Jaquiam(7), and her grandchildren, Arabella(10), Peyton(8), Gracyn(7), and Zachary(1).
