Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday September 29th from 4-6 PM.

A graveside service will take place Tuesday 11 AM at Montrepose Cemetery.

Marilyn Butow, 84, passed away peacefully Thursday September 25, 2025 at Golden Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 7, 1941 in Brooklyn, a daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian Kutikoff.

A lover of animals, she also found solace in the outdoors, especially her time spent walking. A selfless and loving mother, she always prioritized her daughters before herself. Marilyn is lovingly remembered by her daughters for her strength and resilience throughout her life.

Surviving are her daughters Stacy Fasano and her husband Jimmy, Danielle Barros and her husband Michael, grandchildren Jessica, Vincent, James, Lisamarie, David, Christian, Evan, Samantha, Krystina, Donovan, Tanner and Hayden. Great grandchildren Liam and Raelyn, a brother Stephen Kutikoff and his wife Ginny, son in law John Popp as well as many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Bonnie Popp, and siblings Alan, Bernie, Martin and Roberta.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to a humane society or wildlife support of your choice.
