With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Anne C. Sherwood, a beloved mother, cherished friend, and spirited community member, who left this world on October 4, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in Sicily, Italy, and later making Cincinnati, Ohio her home, Anne brought warmth, joy, and vitality to everyone she met.

Throughout her life, Anne epitomized the spirit of endurance and joy in movement. As a dedicated runner, she participated in the Cincinnati Thanksgiving Day Race and the March of Dimes Day races, showing her love for fitness and her commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Lunchtime workouts at the YMCA with her work friends kept her energized, and she found immense joy in Zumba classes alongside her daughters, Debbie & Cathy. She enjoyed going for walks in her North College Hill neighborhood with her late husband Tom and their dog Woody.

Anne's culinary skills were nothing short of legendary. She cooked and had family Sunday dinners and Birthday celebration dinners in her home which always brought a beautiful smile on her face as she enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. Her delicious Scone's blueberry and cranberry treats brought smiles to many faces, and her passion for cooking was a way for her to express love for her family. She would often end her conversations with a heartfelt "Sweetheart," reminding her loved ones that they were always in her heart.

Raised in the Catholic faith, Anne found joy in singing, particularly in her church choir and choirs that she was a member of with her late husband Tom. Her rendition of "Ave Maria" will remain a cherished memory for those who heard her sing it.

Anne leaves behind a loving legacy in her son, Rick (Mary) Fearing, and her daughters, Cathy Murray and Debbie (Steve) Kemme and her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Her love for her family was unparalleled, and they are thankful for the countless memories they shared.

A memorial service will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line upon entering the memorial park) on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. A graveside service will take place in the Garden of Roses at 11:30 a.m.

In honoring Anne's joyful spirit and her abundant love for life, we invite all who knew her to join us in celebrating a life well-lived-one filled with laughter, love, and resilience.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Giovanina Coffaro, and her beloved late husband, Thomas Sherwood.
