AnneMarie D. Ogden

AnneMarie D. Ogden 78 who resided in East Hanover, NJ for 42 years before moving to Dingmans Ferry, PA. AnneMarie lived with her daughter Lara and family for 8 years. AnneMarie died Saturday November 29, 2025, at home peacefully with her family by her side. Born in Spa, Belgium to Wendel & Renee (DuCerf) Corrigan she immigrated to the United States in 1955 and settled in Bloomfield, NJ.
AnneMarie was a force of nature, a mother of fierce loyalty and endless laughter with her humor.
A 1989 graduate of Montclair State College, AnneMarie was a dedicated ESL (English as a Second Language) who inspired everyone she met. She taught at Morris County School, Morristown, NJ. and then worked as a substitute teacher at Livingston High School, NJ until her retirement in 2007.
AnneMarie was passionate with her French dialogue and her native country of Belgium. She cherished annual summer vacations at Long Beach Island, NJ with her family. She loved mystery and detective books and was an avid reader. She enjoyed going to Broadway Shows and Musicals in NYC.
AnneMarie leaves a family behind she cherished above all else, her children. AnneMarie is pre-deceased by her husband of 32 years, Thomas W. Ogden. She is survived by a son Marc & wife Maureen Ogden of Budd Lake, NJ, twin daughters; Lara Ogden-Olivieri & husband John Olivieri of Dingmans Ferry, PA, and Marisa Ogden & her significant other Rita Giacanelli of Bushkill, PA, by five granddaughters; Lily, Amanda, Madison, Sydney, & Savannah and Henry her loyal puggle.
Private burial services were conducted at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover under the direction of Hancliffe Home for Funerals, 222 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ 07936.
Her spirit will continue to guide us as we navigate life without her. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to the Dementia Society of America in AnneMarie's name.
