Annette D. Billman, 65, of Topeka passed away on December 19, 2024 surrounded by family. Annette was born May 15, 1959 in Great Bend, Kansas. She is the daughter of Dolores Lambotte and Lee Unrein.
She was raised in Prairie Village, moved to Topeka, and graduated from Seaman High School in 1977. Annette spent the majority of her adult life in her beloved Texas. While in Texas, she married Bobby Billman and, together, they lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and had their son Blake Billman. They later divorced. Annette moved back to Topeka in 2018.
She was very active. She loved bowling, working out, and sunbathing. She coined herself as a disco queen. She loved to travel and her favorite destination was Aruba. At heart, she was a homebody who enjoyed nightly TV shows and popcorn.
She is survived by her mother, Dolores Lambotte of Topeka, Kansas; her father, Lee Unrein and wife June of Sun City West, Arizona; son, Blake Billman of Austin, Texas; siblings, Angie Wallace (Joe) of Topeka, Kansas; Valerie Eakes (Steve) of Topeka, Kansas; Eric Unrein (Wendi) of Liberty, Missouri; Stephanie Brewer (Chris) of Topeka, Kansas and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 am. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until the service hour. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to CRPS Warrior Foundation, 29910 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, Suite G-143, Murrieta, California 92563, or Johnson Cancer Research Center, Cancer Research Fund, Kansas State University Foundation, PO Box 9200, Shawnee Mission, KS 66201-1800. Parker-Price & Davidson Cremations and Funerals, 245 NW Independence, Topeka Kansas 66608 is assisting the family.
